This course is open to a wide market and is suitable for all employees who want to gain good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace.

With this in mind, the British Safety Council offers the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace, a nationally-recognised qualification aimed at all employees. The qualification provides the essential knowledge of health and safety in the workplace, including duties under the UK health and safety legislation.
The course for the level 2 Award in Health and Safety consists of one day training including an assessment. The course is delivered by our highly qualified consultants, all of whom have vast experience of leading in the context of health and safety.
The course content is created to help you understand peoples roles around health and safety, identify between a hazard and risk, understand the common causes of accidents and what action should be taken if an accident or incident occurs. This giving you the confidence to act should the need occur in your workplace.
